As part of the visit to Arkas Art Center, the exhibition “Tradition and Modernity: Turkish Painting in the Arkas Collection (1920-1970)” will be toured with a guide. Curated by art historian and academic Prof. Dr. Burcu Pelvanoğlu, the exhibition invites visitors to rethink the relationship between tradition and modernity in Turkish painting, highlighting how artists balanced modernization and local identity during the transition from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic. The program will also include a visit to the Consulate of France.
