Kavaklıdere is one of the districts that played an important role in the modernization process of Ankara. Kavaklıdere region became an important center for Ankara with the planned growth moves that took place after the 1950s and also stood out with everday life it offered for the period. The cinemas located in the region are also important structures of everyday life. The event will take place as a presentation aiming to read the history of Ankara's urbanization and cinemas comparatively, and especially to focus on the history of cinema buildings in the Kavaklıdere region.
