Saint Joseph French High School İstanbul
Founded in 1870 by Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, Istanbul Saint-Joseph High School stands out for its rich history and pioneering role in education. Established as the Institute of Commerce in 1903 and reopened as a high school in 1919, it now offers preparatory and high school education with nearly 150 teachers and around 1,000 students. Alongside Istanbul Saint-Michel and Izmir Saint-Joseph high schools, it is an important part of the Lasallian school network.
Founded in 2010, the Natural Sciences Center houses an extraordinary collection of 30,000 animal species and 40,000 plant varieties gathered between the 1800s and 1960. With its historical taxidermy specimens and rich collections, it showcases Turkey’s biodiversity. The center also raises awareness about global warming, sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental issues.
